Dradjad Wibowo

Dradjad was the Chairman and Founder of PEFC member Indonesian Forestry Certification Cooperation (IFCC). He is also the Founder and Chief Economist of Sustainable Development Indonesia (SDI) and an Associate Professor on the Perbanas Institute.
With degrees from Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) Indonesia and the University of Queensland, Australia (both a Masters and PHD in Economics), Dradjad is a prolific writer on the Indonesian economy, finance, politics and strategic affairs for leading news outlets in Indonesia and is frequently cited in the Indonesian press, including radio, TV, and printed-and online-media.
He has held senior positions in banks, worked as Director and a Senior Economist at the Institute for Development Economics and Finance (INDEF), a leading policy think tank in Indonesia, and was the Executive Director of the Indonesian Eco-labeling Institute (LEI) from 2000 to 2004.
For five years, Dradjad was the Vice- Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (Partai Amanat Nasional – PAN) and has been a Member of Parliament and served on several government committees. He has also been a member/ spokesperson in the Indonesian delegations of various international organizations such as ITTO, FAO and the Asian Forestry Partnership.
