EUDR DDS module training: South America

Auditor training

Experienced auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers are invited to register for a PEFC recognised PEFC EUDR DDS module training on 26-27 November 2024.

This training is designed for qualified PEFC chain of custody auditors, reviewers or certification decision makers who seek to provide audits against the new PEFC EUDR DDS module, PEFC ST 2002-1:2024.

The details

This two-day training takes place online on the mornings of 26 and 27 November 2024.

This training will focus on the PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System, PEFC ST 2002-1:2024 equipping auditors with the knowledge they need to help companies transition to the new DDS module standard, which is a pathway to EUDR alignment.

Before the training, participants are expected to read the PEFC EUDR DDS module. Participants will also be provided with case studies in advance of the training and will need to provide their answers to the trainers.

The training will be given by PEFC International Technical Experts Florencia Chavat, María José Pérez, and Gabriela Malvárez, and will be held in Spanish.

This training is free to attend, and the registration deadline is 25 November.

Knowledge test

Following the training, participants will have three weeks to complete the online EUDR DDS knowledge test. Participants that pass this test will receive certificates that are aligned with their chain of custody training. Successful participants will also be added to the PEFC register of trained auditors, reviewers, and certification decision makers.
