Preparing to give your feedback on the PEFC EUDR DDS standard module, but would like more information on this new module?
We are holding a special information webinar, open to everyone, on 27 March and 24 April, to introduce the new PEFC EUDR DDS and answer your questions.
We have developed this new PEFC EUDR Due Diligence System (DDS) to help our PEFC chain of custody certified organisations comply with their EUDR obligations.
The details
The webinar takes place at 10:00 and 16:00 CET on 27 March and 24 April.
The webinar is one hour and will include an open questions and answers session. Please note, you only need to register for one webinar.
The PEFC EUDR DDS
The PEFC EUDR DDS is built upon the existing chain of custody DDS. Our objective was to make the EUDR framework understandable for organisations to implement, benefitting from the synergies with our existing requirements.
Simplicity has been a key term during the development. Our aim has been to provide a system that is easily integrated within our current chain of custody processes in such a way that the organisation can take the module and implement it within a system they are already familiar with.
The consultation
Public consultations are a vital part of the development process of our standards. They are when you can read the draft standard, make your comments, and give direct feedback. Every comment made will get an answer.
The consultation closed on 7 May 2024.
